Fasting

We begin each year with a corporate 21-day fast. Fasting gives a spiritual jumpstart for the year. Just like you start your day off with prayer, we start our year off with fasting and prayer.

What is Fasting? Fasting is primarily the act of willingly abstaining from some or all food, drink, or both, for a period of time. It helps us to shift our priorities to see what God has for each of us.

Types of Fasting:

Absolute Fasting

Abstaining from all foods; only intake of liquids.

The Daniel Fast

Eat no meat, no sweets and no grains. Drink water and juice. Eat fruits and vegetables. Click here for Daniel Fast recipes.

3-Day Fast

This fast can be a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food.

Partial Fast

A partial fast is from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or from sun up to sundown. You can select from three types of fasting —a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food
