What is Family Forward?

Family Forward is a ministry based on family preservation. Simply put, we believe families are important and we want to do whatever is in our wheel house to make strong lasting families. Take a look at the ministries below that help to keep or make families whole!

Care Portal

The Care Portal is a Church Centered Child Welfare system where the needs of at risk children and families can quickly be met by local churches. There are currently twenty churches participating in our area.

God has called every local church to care for hurting children and families. The Care Portal empowers local churches and agencies to partner in overcoming barriers, and to establish a culture of Church Centered Child Welfare.

Orphan/Foster Care

Crossroads is passionate about carrying out God's mandate to love orphans.  Several ways we do this is by assisting families in going through the training process to foster &/or adopt. We also have linked arms with several community agencies to help with wrap around care.

Fig Leaves

Hunger Project

The problem of childhood hunger hits closer to home than we realize. So, Crossroads Church has decided to do something about it. Wednesdays each month, we are inviting families who express a need to come have a meal on us. Beginning at 5:15, we will serve a nutritious meal, and the family will have a chance to join one of the adult classes going on that night while their kids get to join one of our Route 35 Kids classes. Crossroads Church is working together with Helping Hands of Belton to face hunger head on in our community. HOW CAN YOU HELP? GIVE. We need donations of all kinds - food, paper goods, money, etc. All your contributions will be put to excellent use. VOLUNTEER. To find out more about what you can do to serve your local community in this way, email us at info@crcbelton.com and let us know you're interested! Or just click on VOLUNTEER and get started! INVITE. You may know a family in need. While we are primarily targeting families in Belton, we realize the issue of hunger extends far beyond our city.
